The team takes ownership for delivering and supporting robust solutions that our users love to work with. You will shape the core of our development environments for the Mendix platform. Your work will help our customers create better solutions. We allow them to focus on the complexity of their business challenge instead of the technical challenges.
Have a proven track record of software engineering and being able to solve complex challenges
Enjoy solving those challenges by understanding them by deconstructing them into elegant, understandable code
Are able to break challenges down to iteratively build the solution with short feedback cycles
Are proficient in C# and have knowledge of one or more other programming languages
Have a good understanding of core concepts of computer science and apply them regularly
Are persistently curious and have strong analytical skills that help you ask great questions to identify possible issues with the requirements and help you to define the actual problem
Are always learning and innovating in your work by staying up-to-date in your field and learning from others
Will dive deep into existing functionality to identify risks and test cases to ensure existing mechanisms still work when introducing new core functionality
Like working in a team instead of working in isolation
Like to learn from others and coach and mentor to help others be successful
Take responsibility for the quality of your work by identifying risks and testing it
Experience with the following is required:
- You have done several large scale projects using C#
- Version control systems, preferably GIT and Subversion
- Build tools like Jenkins and Bamboo and processes like continuous integration and deployment.
Experience with the following is a plus:
- Building Mendix applications
- Metamodeling, compiler technology and code generation
